Coming soon (2025)

  • Integration of Program Coordinators into the Hub - Provide personalized access to each program coordinator on STAGE+. These currently have occasional access only upon invitation from an ÉSSS internship manager.
  • Internship Offer and Hub - Allow internship offers to be published directly in the STAGE+ hub and offer the opportunity to apply.

  • Unsolicited application b4 - Integration of the latest changes. The CV is now optional and the types of permitted documents are listed. The work shift is now required in the schedule. For a supervisory internship, if the candidate is not a Canadian citizen, they are asked their country of origin. To the question about the work permit, if the candidate answers "Yes", he must attach his permit application.
  • Import - Added a new validation after applying the correction rules to ensure that valid internships are not listed as incorrect.
  • Import - Fixed a bug where a canceled internship would end up with the status confirmed, in progress, or completed.
  • Import - The import of "Rehabilitation Internships (ULAVAL)" is finalized and allows the selection of a study program.

  • Multidisciplinary Internships - Addition of a new "Group Internship (Multiple Settings)" type.   • Disciplines - Finalize the removal of the term "discipline" from the STAGE+ import grids, forms, and processes. This term was used primarily for statistical purposes, allowing internships of the same category to be grouped together. We will look into offering you another way to do this soon.
  • Export - Ability to export "Study Program Coordinators" (EE, Level, PE, First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone).

  • Spontaneous request - Integration of the latest changes.
  • Initial data - Modification of the grid "6a. List of interns (optional)" in order to move the Educational institution, Study program and Pathway columns to the right of column C (Name) and these are now mandatory. Please update your grid if you wish to import intern profiles.
  • Import - Added the import of financial particularities via the grid "5a. List of financial particularities" available in your "0. Initial data" folder.

  • Premium management - Added a report for managing your medical interns' premiums.
  • Importation - Reduced import processing by 2 to 3 times. This will give you a confirmation much faster.

Please note that this will be the last update of your training environment before the return from the holiday break on January 6. Also, the production and training environments will experience a service outage during this period. You will be notified 3 days in advance via our "STAGE + Client Name" discussion on Teams.

  • Data Management - A new section will contain the reports that can be generated by the "Generate a report..." action from the Actions menu.
  • Data Management - Note that all imports, exports and reports generated will now be kept for 45 days.

  • Cancellation of an internship - Added the reason "Change of internship" used in the context where an intern must change internship for various reasons.
  • Cancellation of an internship - Improved notifications sent as well as the choice of recipients depending on the reason for cancellation. For example, canceling an internship for a reason of duplicates will not result in any notification.
  • Premium management - Available to Residents in Medicine, the "Paying agent" field will be replaced by the "Applicable environment" fieldthe". Allows you to identify in which environment the premium will apply.

  • Importation - Improvement of the import history so that it offers a grid containing all the lines ignored during the import. So you will only have to download this grid, make the corrections and import it. No need to note the ignored lines during your future imports.
  • Importation of rules - Modification made to the import of access, allocation and solicitation rules which will imply that the existing rules will be previously deleted before importing the rules grid. This ensures that if a rule had to be modified or deleted, this will not impact the current rules.
  • Importation of internships - Modification made to the import of internships via the STAGE+ multidisciplinary grid in order to allow multiple values ​​for interns (first name, last name and email). Each of the values ​​must be separated by a semicolon.
  • Importation of academic paths (STAGE+) - A new import will be available if you wish to manage the academic path of your medical interns. This grid will add the information to the trainee's profile in a section of the same name.
  • Import of physiotherapy internships (ULAVAL) - A new import will be available for physiotherapy internships from Université Laval.
  • Import of medical internships (MedSIS) - Correct the import of the trainee's address.
  • Obtain a connection link - In the training environment, pilots or internship managers can now generate a unique connection link allowing them to temporarily connect to another user's account via a private window, facilitating user support and management. Allows controlled impersonation only possible from the training environment.
  • Application Settings - Added the "Require a photo of each trainee" field which will require the trainee to provide a recent passport-sized ID photo when they first update their profile. This photo will be used to create their access and identification card.
  • Application settings - Addition of the "Link to the welcome kit" field which will allow you to attach the link to the specificities and information for welcoming your medical and multidisciplinary interns.
  • Academic path - New parameter available at the medical internship level indicating that you wish to manage the academic path of your medical interns.
  • Internship - Addition of the "Special project" field which will allow you to identify whether an internship is part of a specific project or initiative such as ExploRÉA, Decentralized Medical Training Program (PFMD), or other... The "Importation of medical internships (STAGE+)" and "Importation of multidisciplinary internships (STAGE+)" grids will be modified to contain this new field.
  • Deletion - Improvement of the "Delete..." action available from the Action menu. Thus, depending on the document to be deleted, more precise information will indicate the consequences of this action before proceeding.
  • Optimized synchronization with the HUB - STAGE+ now offers enhanced synchronization of data common to all its customers (educational institutions, study programs, paying agents, various lists, etc.). The new improvements ensure perfect consistency and updating between the central HUB and your different environments.

  • Importation of medical internships (GIS 2.0) - A new import will be available for medical internships (externship) from Université Laval.
  • Premium management - Addition of management ofes bonuses reserved for residents.
  • Application settings - A new setting called "Historical data" will identify the date of the last day of internships that will be imported as history in STAGE+.
  • Privacy Commitments Process - We have improved the use of the form by removing unnecessary recalculations and have corrected the conditions that involve a background check.
  • Intern profile update - Fixed an issue where the intern profile update is requested again after completing the Commitments and declaration of criminal records, even if the update had already been made.

  • Internship request - The selection of environments to offer is now simpler. The person responsible for the request must simply check the environments that he wishes to propose and no longer specify for each environment whether or not he wishes to propose it.
  • Leave management Preview - Integrate a leave authorization process (Leave request).
  • Import module - Corrected a problem when applying correction rules which, for some reason, replaced the value in error but it remained indicated in error.
  • Import module - Improve the processing of large file imports to ensure that if the maximum processing time allocated is reached before the end of the import, that we display the status in the Import History view "On hold (123 / 456)" indicating the number of lines of the file that are processed out of the total number.
  • Access rules In test - Addition of a new component to identify from your rules, each access that must be assigned to a trainee. A new grid "4. List of access rules (optional)" is also available.
  • Assignment rules In test - Added a new component to configure the automatic assignment of an internship according to your specifications. Thus, when importing an internship, according to its parameters the internship manager could be automatically assigned.   • Invite an intern - This new action available from an intern's profile allows you to send them an invitation to connect to STAGE+. For security reasons, this is the only time you can also change the student's email address.

  • API and Data Export - Harmonization of the data available both through export and API use.
  • Medical Internship Management Area - We have created a new area reserved exclusively for Medical Internship Managers. The My Draft, Confirmed and Current Internships views now only display data (path, department, care unit, main and secondary settings) on medical internships. We have removed the All Supervisors view and adapted the All Interns view to display the path as well as the externship and residency practice numbers.
  • Medical Internship Import (MedSIS) - Correction of secondary settings to manage multiple values. Only one of the values ​​was processed.

  • Internship application - Addition of activities to obtain the result of the interview by the Supervisor and the Coordinator of the PÉ in order to guide the process according to the results.
  • Importation of internships - Allow to import internships whose status is "Completed" without the intern's email address. In other cases, the imported internships will remain in error (Documents in error in the Data Management area).
  • Importation MedSIS - Correction of the identification of Environments in the Application Settings. We will use names instead of acronyms. Also, the Department and Care Unit or Service fields will be hidden in the case where the Primary and Secondary Environments of the internship refer to another establishment.
  • MedSIS Import - Correction the first name, last name and email of the intern were no longer transferred to the Internship and therefore the Intern Profile was not created or updated.
  • MedSIS Import - Addition of default computer accesses at the internship level.
  • Internship Management - Identification of optional fields if an internship is created or imported with a "Completed" status.

  • API Access Preview - We have created a new section (API Access) in the Application Settings that will allow you to generate different API keys and identify the associated accesses.
  • Space - Piloting - Possibility to report the absence of a user by the Pilots.
  • Internship request - Possibility to indicate that an environment offered requires an interview for matching. This improvement involves several process changes and will allow the PÉ Coordinator and the Internship Manager to indicate the student's and supervisor's decision following the interview and thus confirm the internship place, request other environments or cancel the request. This functionality will work for requests of the type "Internship in supervision" and "Grouped internships in supervision".
  • Internship import template (INTERNSHIP+) - We have added the intern's telephone number and their personal identification code (or Windows code) for both models (multidisciplinary and medical). This information remains optional.
  • Importing interns - A new import template (Internship import template) is now available. It allows you to pre-complete several pieces of information about your interns and update the data of existing profiles.
  • Intern profile - Addition of the "Last study session" field to identify the student's last study session.
  • Internship and Internship request - Improved identification of supervisors. From now on, a single field will allow you to indicate the first name, last name and email of the supervisor. We are removing the radio type field that allowed you to select an existing one or create a new one. This improvement will simplify and harmonize identification.
  • Session - In order to harmonize the name of the sessions between secondary, college and university levels, the months will be removed from the names. For example, the 2024-25 academic year will be composed of the sessionss following: Fall 2024, Winter 2025 or Summer 2025.

  • API In testing - We will provide access to the list of internships via a route of our API in order to validate the accessible data and the exchange format.
  • Internship request - Move the "Add" field to a new "Data management" section allowing you to specify certain rules to be put in place for importing data from external systems. The integration of these new parameters will be available in a future update.
  • Importing Internships - When importing medical internships (were only available for multidisciplinary internships in the June 18 update), the internship number generated by STAGE+ will be added to the import file found in the import history documents. You will then be able to use this import file again to make changes to the imported internships.
  • MedSIS Import - Integrate the Internship Duration and the Resident Permit No.

Update 2024-06-18

  • Importing internships- When importing multidisciplinary internships and medical internships, the internship number generated by STAGE+ will be added to the import file found in the import history documents. You will then be able to use this import file again to make changes to the imported courses.
